Pros and cons of Learn German - 3,400 words app for iPhone and iPad

Learn German - 3,400 words app good for

Repeats every word until you learn it. You can choose the words you want to study. Very useful app.
To be a free app I cant complain. Surely the graphics could be improved and the exercises are quite repetitive but it definitely helps revising
I took German up through German 6 in school, but havent studied or used it in around 10 years. This app is great for regaining knowledge of nouns and verbs that are more advanced. Unlike other apps, which seem to emphasize the easy words youd learn in German 1 (pronouns, animals, clothing, food), this one includes lots of practical words I had either forgotten, or never learned.
I am a beginner but I find this app very good for building vocabulary.
Great way to build ones basic German vocabulary. Alternating methods of seeing the typed word and hearing only the spoken word as clues gets one used to not only seeing the spelling first and hearing the pronunciation once the correct answer is chosen, but also to only hearing it and then seeing the typed answer upon choosing the correct answer so no matter the method used, one hears and sees the word. This has helped my wife take a greater interest in learning the language I have grown to love as my second language.
As of September 12, 2016 it is only possible to ignore a word when you first see it. PLEASE make it so that ANY WORD can be ignored AT ANY TIME. This means whenever you see the word, IN or OUT of a lesson. THANKS!!!!

Some bad moments

Program is very inflexible. It is not possible to exclude words from the learning vocabulary if these words were already included. The mandatory feature to "type" words is even more disgraceful.
App works great! I like the constant review of previous words mixed with the new.
Great app so far. I took upper immediate German in college a few years back. Not only do I want to brush up on my German but take it to the next level for the new year of 2014. This app is helping me get there. Yesterday I spoke to a German guy from Cologne at Wurstkuche in Venice Beach, Los Angeles. Er sagte "Du sprichst gut." It made me feel good inside.
great app! i tried it first and bought the rest afterwards. Im a german language student over 40 and vocabulary just doesnt stick as easily as it used to. This is the best tool Ive come across in the app store so far. I wish they pronounced the nouns with their articles as this is most important to memorize in german but random repetition and statistics make upfot this fault. Highly recommend it.
I find that hearing (as opposed to just reading) vocabulary is very important. So is paced repetition. This app does both very well. I highly recommend it.
A great way to learn vocab is through both sound, pictures and spelling. I love this app!
